An-Cor piping is available in abrasion resistant versions for applications such as Flue Gas Desulfurization (FGD). Pipe installation, replacement and repair services are provided by An-Cor in many process areas, including FGD. Pipe system reliability is assured when An-Cor engineered pipe supports, anchors and guides are also incorporated into the installation. FRPI certification is also available for An-Cor pipe.
An-Cor custom manufactures pipe for demanding service, with corrosion and erosion allowances often reaching as high as 500 mils. Depending on service parameters, the pipe will either be manufactured by the Hand Lay-up or Filament Winding method. All pipe fittings are Hand Lay-up, with a corrosion barrier or allowance included.
An-Cor utilizes a number of joining methods to assure reliable connections and ease of installation. An-Cor can shop spool your pipe into subassemblies, where the number of joints can be reduced by as much as 66% as compared to commodity style pipe provided by distributors. Joint reduction equates to quicker installation and fewer potential leak points.
