His construction illustrates some of the primary materials and processes used in the manufacturing of FRP equipment. His legs are pipes, his body is a tank, his head is a hood, and his arms are ductwork. Our company's slogan, which was developed to communicate An-Cor's mission, is "Mr. An-Cor fights corrosion".

William J. Arthur and D. Virginia Arthur incorporated An-Cor Industrial Plastics, Inc. on January 1, 1960, in order to provide a needed service to the local chemical processing industry. The service An-Cor provided was the manufacturing and repair of FRP Products. The sales volume for their first full year of operation was $58,030.

As sales grew over the years, so did An-Cor. It has expanded in plant size, the number of branch locations, and employees, to accomodate the growth in sales that has steadly occurred over the years. Now, An-Cor is one of America's leading FRP manufacturer's, with approximatly 80 employees, and 100,000 square feet of manufacturing space.
