To capitalize on the FRP industry’s globalization and consolidation, as well as to assure An-Cor customers and employees a successful future, An-Cor has become part of Group DKG. This association with DKG brings a global perspective, stronger level of financial support and cross company capabilities sharing, that will assure An-Cor sustains its leadership position locally in the markets we serve for years to come.

Today An-Cor continues to be recognized within industry circles as a founding father and an industry leader.

The Fiberglass Reinforced Plastic (FRP) chemical process equipment industry got its start in the early 1950’s and the material has grown widely in acceptance ever since. In 1958 An-Cor started as a division of Arrow Tank, a wood staved tank manufacturer. By January of 1960 An-Cor spun off, set up operations and incorporated under the name An-Cor Industrial Plastics. Among many accomplishments, An-Cor is the first ASME RTP-1 Accredited and FRPI Certified manufacturer, and received ASME certificate RTP-001 in July 1993 and FRPI Certificate FRPI-001 in October 2003.

The company name, An-Cor, was derived from the primary benefit of the products produced, Anti-Corrosive FRP.

Founders, William J. Arthur and D. Virginia Arthur, were among the first globally to start engineering and producing FRP Products. Now, over 50 years later, An-Cor has remained an industry leader and a family based business. Three generations work together alongside experienced and dedicated employees to compose the An-Cor team.
